About the Programme
The Community Book Club Programme is a literacy and cultural development initiative aimed at promoting a love for reading, language preservation, and storytelling among children and the broader community in Kroonstad.The programme focuses on Early Childhood Development (ECD) learners from the age of 2 years and above, as well as youth and community members. It is delivered through monthly visits to ECD centres, where facilitators read age-appropriate books to children, encouraging early literacy, imagination, and language development.
